The Sechenov University held a Day of Knowledge for foreign students
September 01 was a solemn event for foreign students at the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov. The event began with the opening ceremony and the performance of the Russian national anthem.
Mikhail Yurievich Brovko, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. Tatiana Alekseevna Tatarinova, Director of the Institute of International Education, provided detailed information about the adaptation activities and various opportunities for foreign students within the Institute of International Education. An important part of the program was a speech by Irina Alekseevna Alkanova, Deputy Head of the Migration Accounting Department, who explained the key rules for complying with the migration legislation of the Russian Federation.
The event continued with a presentation of youth organizations and a session of answering students’ questions. At the end of the meeting, the anthem of Sechenov University was played, after which a general group photo was taken.
The event allowed foreign students to get all the necessary information for a comfortable study and life in Russia.
